Happy Lunar New Year!

To start off the Year of the Wooden Horse, Reggie had lunch at Masuki, along Benavidez Street in Chinatown with our friends Cha and Jah.

For afternoon tea, we headed to Bizu Greenbelt 3 for time with my highschool barkada. That lasted through dinner. We had okonomiyaki, zaru udon, and stir fry noodles for dinner at Kagura in Little Tokyo. There’s also a new ice cream booth in the patio area of New Tokyo that serves Dojo Dairy Ice Cream.

The Dojo Dairy ice cream is delicious! The flavors are strong, but well thought out. The blue cheese had fig bits. The miso shake had nuts. Wasabi has finely grated bits of wasabi root that prickles wonderfully on the tongue.  The green tea was a good balance of creamy and matcha. Some of us preferred a bit more matcha though. I will definitely go back to try more flavors!
